    This is the most annoying feature.

    It is very bad for a writer.

    How to eliminate once and for all?

    I can barely get anything done due to the distraction and repetition of this aggravating situation.

    So far the best I've seen is to click the Esc key when it pops up and that stops it (for me, anyway)...it's not a fix but it is a temporary resolve! Come on MS, enough is enough...

    Here is my suggestion.

    Once Narrator starts you need to click the Narrator folder that has appeared on your Task Bar. A Menu will open with various options:

    Clicking "Exit" at the bottom works well. So does right clicking the Task Bar folder and selecting "Close."
