Please get rid of this read aloud yesterday, it's very frustrating when prevents you from working.

The steps provided in the previous post should disable the Narrator feature to prevent the Read aloudbox from popping-up. Alternatively, you can follow the steps provided on this support article on how to disable it through the Settings app. Once you're done, check if you encounter the same issue.

2018-03-21T10:43:35+00:00 Read aloud is one of the most annoying things I have ever experienced. It often starts on its own (I'm sure I have inadvertently hit some secret key combination to start it) and I can't turn it off. Only option is restart. Very poor design! Give us the option to completely remove or at the very least disable it.

2018-03-21T14:55:23+00:00 I have found that when Read Aloud, along with the other choices that pops up--I think copy is one of them but Read Aloud is usually at the top, I have found that pressing the Esc key stops Read Aloud. And, yes yes yes, nothing but annoying and for MS not to have a resolve by now is not too good...
