I hate read aloud!  What a lousy idea.  I'll be typing a lengthy post and I assume I accidently hit a combination of keys that enables read aloud.  Then I can't make it stop.  I have to close Windows Edge and reopen it, losing my post.

Everyone hates read aloud.  There is no way to disable it.  And MS could care less and will not fix it.

I want  to know a simple way to turn read aloud off! It's annoying.

MS is awful.   Can't believe they don't fix this NOW. Will buy Apple in the future.

If the "Read Aloud" is not fixed, with an option to disable it, I too will buy Apple in the future.

Ms just doesn't care about the problem.
