Original question:
I've got a random Amazon KFAUWI device showing up on my network as a device beside my driver for my router. Can anyone help? I am sure it is not a device in my house, as everything is set to something we've done or one of our names. Can anyone tell me if i'm stupid or if this is a general happening?

2020-02-15T10:26:17+00:00 I still have no answers BUT my ISP did switch out all the modem/routers and got me into my router address and since I had gotten screenshots I was able to bad each of those mac addresses

Ihave been through so much BS since last May I got a xraSH COURSE ON PROPER AND UNPROPER WAYS TO SURF THE WEB AND CHECK SITE CETIFICATES SO YOU DONT GET NASTY THINGS IN YOUR COMPUTER. aNYWAYS IF YOU OR ANYONE WHO SEES THIS POST HAS ANY ANSWERS i WOULD SURE LOVE TO KNOW WHAT IT IS. tAKE CARE

2020-02-15T19:35:33+00:00 If you look you will see these devices are not on your network they have no IP address or other details. They are simply devices with mac addresses out in the ether looking for available WPS networks they can connect to. If you do not use WPS they will not connect.
make sure WPS is turned off in your router. Also turn off Windows Connect Now - Config Registrar service on your PC.
Anyone have these pop in and out of your private network?

Thank you so very much for answering my question! What you are saying makes total sense now. I am unsure how to configure the registrar. Maybe you could explain a little more about that? I can't find where to turn off the windows connect you mentioned. I will make sure WPS is off in my router.
I appreciate your time and help in this. I have never reached out for help in my past and wish I would of after a hugs ordeal happened to me and I just kept it to myself and it got worse. Lesson learned. So even though it's awkward to ask I am going to to do it because there are people experiencing these same issues and know how to help.
