The websites appuals.com and thewindowsclub.com may be recommending programs you shouldn't download or install. The information on the pages is safe, but the programs are often classified as PUPs (Potentiall Unwanted Programs.)

I've got a random Amazon KFAUWI device showing up on my network as a device beside my driver for my router. Can anyone help? I am sure it is not a device in my house, as everything is set to something we've done or one of our names. Can anyone tell me if i'm stupid or if this is a general happening?

2017-12-10T19:11:30+00:00 Just speculating on the Dell thing. However, I've built my own in the past and they do hold a lot of patents on the parts and pieces. Still a person of interest, IMO. Besides, my efforts were moot. It came back, disappeared again and now there's another unknown named "full ford" and it's disappeared, just as quickly as I'm typing and "austin" disappeared again. The Comcast scenario is also of interest. I use Comcast and don't put anything past them. It makes me wonder if it's cars passing by? Time to increase security.

2017-12-10T17:57:06+00:00 Not sure if a Dell update would be part of it or not. My system is 100% custom built by me. It has been come and go issue, one day both are there, next day both aren't. I'd really like to get to the bottom of this, Microsoft has to know as there are 1,000's of reports of this online.

2017-12-10T17:38:08+00:00 Had the same issue, Unknown Device in my Network named "austin", with same identifiers as the other posts here. After unsuccessfully trying to delete it, I turned off everything in my network and then turned everything back on, one-by-one, so I could identify and it has not returned. Just speculating but might have something to do with Dell update after the Windows Creator's Update last week, early December 2017. Dell is in Austin, TX. The Amazon identifier is still a puzzle. I am an Amazon Seller but can't see how anything I do in that area could be part of the issue. Hope this helps y'all resolve the issue.
