I've got a random Amazon KFAUWI device showing up on my network as a device beside my driver for my router. Can anyone help? I am sure it is not a device in my house, as everything is set to something we've done or one of our names. Can anyone tell me if i'm stupid or if this is a general happening?

2019-04-26T22:26:14+00:00 SOLVED! I have the same issue. This morning my wife received a new portable medical device to monitor (and report via the internet) her blood INR. Soon, 'Austin' KFAUWI appeared on my network devices. I looked up it's Mac address and found that it is related to Roche Diagnostics GmbH, the manufacturer of the device.
There may be other reasons something like this has appeared on your network, but I'm pretty sure this is what happened here. If that's the case, probably not a good idea to block the device.

I have seen both full_biscuit and austin on my network. I reset my router and looked on my refreshed windows network.
I see Austin with no an IP addresss but with a MAC address. I look on my Linksys router access table and I see the same item as my Amazon Fire with the same MAC but now showing a local IP address.
So it's my Kindle Fire and Austin is the Motherboard of the some devices like the Fire. KFAUWI, KFKAWI KASUWI and KAFOWI are Amazon Fire device model names.
If you are absolutely sure your spouse, kids and friends don't have a (secret) Amazon device that has been used in your home, then I would suggest you use MAC filtering on your router and only allow the MAC addresses of your known devices to access your router.

2019-02-21T19:12:38+00:00 I just discovered this Network Device newly appeared on my network (non-wifi, ethernet wired in to a modem from Comcast) when Avast, which downloads with the latest issue of C-Cleaner, did a scan this morning and found this added to my network as a network device: full_buscuit, Manufacturer Amazon, Model AEOBC (Model webpage unavailable) , device webpage: (Presentation webpage unavailable); troubleshooting information: Serial number: "Unavailable"; MAC address: 440:b4:cd:e4:dd:a4; I looked this up and it originates at Amazon Technologies Inc.. The unique identifyier and IP address were both labeled "unavailable".
When I ran the security scan for the device on the network, a diagram appeared that showed my computer on the left side, the unknown device showing up in the middle connected to a Cisco device labeled "intel" then that connected to a Cisco device pictured on the right side.
I keep no Amazon electronic devices or smart phones in the home. I suspect this a spying operation that Amazon may be doing, or if they are in foreign countries, the foreign countries may be using the Amazon software to get into people's private networks to spy. Other than that possibility I have no idea what is going on or who to report a complaint to.
