Windows 10 1709 its been out almost a month now and still no fix for the freezing bug issue, lots of people are having the same issue as me and none of your suggestion work  unlike the 1703 which didn't freeze for me but sadly 1709 does but seems like Microsoft hasn't acknowledge the problem yet..   #Microsoft fix it

Sorry to say, disabling fast startup did NOT work for me. My Lenovo desktop machine still froze 2 more times last night. I did check the Lenovo site, and it seems that my particular machine, model H 215 purchased in 2010, was NOT tested with 1709. I guess I'm not surprised, the machine is old. But this is very frustrating that Windows 10 would change something that seems to have broken so many customers. Unfortunately, I cannot role back to 1703; that image is unavailable to me.

The "Spring Creators Update" - V 1804 - is due out in April I've heard. Let's hope this issue is something that had been fixed in that release.

I have the same issue, my computer has frozen 4 times today.  Just freezes and nothing works, no keyboard no mouse.  I have to use the reset button to restart.  This is a BRAND NEW build with a fresh copy of Windows I paid $100 for.  My last cheap 6 year old computer never froze up.

Definitely worth disabling "fast startup" to see if that makes any difference. It worked for me. Only drawback is that your PC might take a few extra seconds to boot up. Small price to pay for stable running.

I disabled the quick start ... so long as everything is fine, it does not hang. I hope that this helped ...
