Thanks but the Feedback App doesn't seem to be working either. When you click on Add feedback, the screen remains stuck on the loading blue circle / hour glass. I tried resetting the app but still have the same issue.
Windows 10 1709 freeze randomly
Windows 10 1709 its been out almost a month now and still no fix for the freezing bug issue, lots of people are having the same issue as me and none of your suggestion work unlike the 1703 which didn't freeze for me but sadly 1709 does but seems like Microsoft hasn't acknowledge the problem yet.. #Microsoft fix it

2017-12-31T05:34:22+00:00 Hello,
We'd like to know if you're still experiencing the issue after rolling back to version 1703. If not, we recommend that you submit your issue using the Feedback Hub. You can either vote on an existing submission or submit a new issue. When you submit a feedback item, we gather additional details and information about your issue that will help us determine what’s causing it and address it. Feedback items regularly receive Microsoft responses on the submissions in the Feedback app so you can see what we are doing about your feedback. Please revisit frequently to see the status of your feedback items.
In order to submit new feedback, please follow these steps:
- On a Windows 10 device, search for “Feedback Hub” in Cortana search, then launch the app.
- Navigate to Feedback in the left menu, then press + Add new feedback.
- Select the Problem, and share any details you think are relevant, and choose an appropriate category and subcategory.
- Important: If possible, reproduce the problem(s) after clicking Begin monitoring (or Start capture) near the end of the form; Stop monitoring when you’re done.
- Once you’ve completed the form and monitoring, click Submit.
- Click Continue using Feedback Hub.
- Click My feedback at the top, then find the item you submitted (it may take a while to appear).
- Open the item you submitted, then click Share.
- Click Copy link, then paste the link here in your response (it will look like https://aka.ms/<uniquelink>).
Don’t hesitate to inform us if you have any other concerns.

2017-12-29T22:02:56+00:00 I have also had this problem since the 1709 update in December 2017. I rolled back to 1703 and disabled the updates. Microsoft - can you please acknowledge that there is a problem with 1709? Are you looking into this and when will it be fixed?

2017-12-29T15:06:34+00:00 can you confirm if you issue was resolved after disabling fast start up?
Fast startup is a combination of hibernation & shut down. You're system shuts down normally, but the system provides a little power to your on memory to store data. Now, you will notice if you use fast startup & you take out ram & put in new or the same. It'll take a but longer to load up & sometimes crash during the load up as it was looking for files no longer accessible.
Disabling fast startup only does one thing. It doesn't use hibernation. It re loads data from your HDD or SSD to load up. Now fast startup is useless if you use a SSD because the access times are no different from ram to SSD, in many cases its better from the SSD. I don't have fast startup enabled because it can cause corruption & crashing during windows load up. It has no effect on the system once it's loaded up. So only disable if you have problems loading windows. Once windows has fully loaded & you've been using software or whatever. Fast startup has no bearing at that point on your system.
I will also like to add. Fast startup is the worst thing you can have enabled if you have a laptop. Because if a battery goes dead after or taken out. It will try & load data that's not available anymore & most likely crash during boot.
