Took about an hour but appears to have worked.
Took some working out that date was in American format!
Did not work with date at 03/12/2017, (worried it might have been 12th March!)
But tried 02/12/2017 and success.
Just hope proper fix appears soon.
John
Sorry! I should have stated the date as 03 Dec 2017. That would have eliminated the confusion.
As far as I know, Microsoft has fixed the date in their servers, or this fix would not have worked. This was just a way to get Windows Update ( in the users computers) working long enough to download the fix. It seems to work fine after this, now that the date is back to normal.
I'm not sure where you are in the world, but I think the time in the expiration date may have been in UTC, so the further west from the prime meridian you are, the more likely it would be that your local time would have put you in 04 Dec 2017, even though your local time would have put you in 03 Dec 2017.
"But tried 02/12/2017 and success."
So did your system reset to today's date or are you still in the past?
