Error Code 80248015

I did just find a work around by unchecking  all the settings and going to never have updates.  Then I was able to get updates again when reset to manual, and found two huge security updates.  Maybe they are inundated as the updates were huge.  I was able to update with them and now it works again.  But unchecking everything seemed to clear it out as automatic update did not work.  Manual seemed to work.  I hope it stays fixed now.

I can't seem to find a real answer to why the windows update no longer will  work for windows 7.  Has microsoft come up with a solution that works.  A lot of days have gone by and there seems no one from microsoft with an answer.  There are lots and lots of people with this problem but what is the real solution?  Will there be a patch to fix it for us all? I have tried so many of the things here to no avail.  I feel it is dangerous to keep going like this without security updates.  Thank you for any help you can give!  Am getting really discouraged.

That way I could install manually December updates.  In couple of weeks I will see if that automatic update is working again.  When I had that problem Windows update pages in control panel were very slow.  I also could not see update history getting only empty page.  I could see updates only in Installed Updates.  Now the update history is working like before.
