ok, and if wishes were horses beggars would ride. I go back to an earlier comment:- if we want MS to change their minds we have to give them a good business reason to do so and that is a mountain of a problem given where we are starting from; a long thread on this forum with various conflicting views does not take us there - fun though it may be.
Chriskagunda's kind words on my post summed it up better than I: we have become inseparable from our mobile phones and the first company that takes this on board may well be able to gain market share, Apple had it by default but seem to be giving it away because they don't recognise it, Samsung have never taken that approach, Pixel seem to be going in the right direction but Google don't have a good rep because their business model is to harvest data. Perhaps the application of this is where MS can find room to move forward - but they will take a LOT of convincing and so would I in their shoes.
