++ the future of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones ++

++ the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones is discontinued, but many of them are still in action and competitive. In my opinion, the timing for their launch alongside the first versions of Windows 10 mobile has been a problem (later versions of Windows 10 mobile are more competitive). I compare the path of Microsoft Lumia phones with the path of Mercedes F1 Team. If you have perseverance, you can win, but you need to have realistic intermediary goals. You must not be number one from the start, but rather be on the field, with competitive, distinctive devices (1% market share can be achieved with the core fans of Microsoft Windows). 1% is not a small number of users & translates to even more when we focus on Windows users. So my question is for Microsoft & fans // is it possible to continue the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumias for the fans of the brand & Windows ? // ++  #theWindowsthatneversleeps +

    • as a battery has 2 sides it is quite OK to have a discussion // note that not every monthly update is the same, e.g. the April 2018 update has had an impressive size compared to the current update // resurrection is great, but until 3rd Quarter 2019 the system is just active / topphone X &  SE looks like  will be discontinued

    • because can reinforce Windows users
    • because it can win in some segments, regions important market share
    • because we need more competition  
    • because cloud is not enough & desktop, laptop versions can become fragile in the absence of a mobile arm (rivals will compete more effectively in these segment in the future)
    • like in F1 you can win some points, then also races (e.g. phone works like your PC with Continuum or without, Camera, Cortana, geo-location, offline-translate)
    • promotion has to be adapted to region : where Windows is more important, capitalization of that advantage is easier //
    • let us hope for the best //

    • 11k is only the tip of the iceberg // some paintings cost more than saving this system, which can hugely benefit mankind & it is highly adaptable to devices with different budgets //
