++ the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones is discontinued, but many of them are still in action and competitive. In my opinion, the timing for their launch alongside the first versions of Windows 10 mobile has been a problem (later versions of Windows 10 mobile are more competitive). I compare the path of Microsoft Lumia phones with the path of Mercedes F1 Team. If you have perseverance, you can win, but you need to have realistic intermediary goals. You must not be number one from the start, but rather be on the field, with competitive, distinctive devices (1% market share can be achieved with the core fans of Microsoft Windows). 1% is not a small number of users & translates to even more when we focus on Windows users. So my question is for Microsoft & fans // is it possible to continue the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumias for the fans of the brand & Windows ? // ++  #theWindowsthatneversleeps +

    Convincing a genius to do the right thing is never never difficult.. Mr Satya Nadella is a genius and convincing him to use his acumen to save Windows Mobile ought not be seen as an insurmountable task at all.

    Windows 10 Mobile has been dead for a year already, it cannot be saved. Resurrecting it, which is what you and one other enlightened person seem to want, is never going to happen, precisely because there is no business case to do it and someone with Nadella's acumen was already aware of that a long time ago.

    You need to understand that Windows 10 Mobile is dead and never coming back. Microsoft has moved on and forgotten about it - and please save me the silly arguments that they haven't, just because you get a basic security patch every month, which is necessary only because MS messed up something in the previous one.

    Whether Microsoft are stupid enough to develop and release a NEW mobile platform remains to be seen - I believe they are not.

    They didn't have to be "stupid enough" to put up the platform , in the first place,...neither will they have to, to resurrect it. Business forces you fondly point to, please remember, are NOT static or cast on stone.

    Correct, and since Windows 10 Mobile ended they have all been moving in the direction confirming this decision as the right one.

    Technology moves forward, Windows 10 Mobile is a closed book, the story has ended. There might be a new one or not, we will see. But this one has definitely ended, whether you choose to acknowledge it or not.
