++ the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones is discontinued, but many of them are still in action and competitive. In my opinion, the timing for their launch alongside the first versions of Windows 10 mobile has been a problem (later versions of Windows 10 mobile are more competitive). I compare the path of Microsoft Lumia phones with the path of Mercedes F1 Team. If you have perseverance, you can win, but you need to have realistic intermediary goals. You must not be number one from the start, but rather be on the field, with competitive, distinctive devices (1% market share can be achieved with the core fans of Microsoft Windows). 1% is not a small number of users & translates to even more when we focus on Windows users. So my question is for Microsoft & fans // is it possible to continue the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumias for the fans of the brand & Windows ? // ++  #theWindowsthatneversleeps +

    • once I have read on a Windows Central comment do not label as non-existent a great, functional product & service. As long as delivers its job it is great (some fans here try to stop this company to harm itself) // if anyone thinks that a Microsoft employee cannot make the difference between 2 numbers of 4-digits this is his/her problem // it is an opinion that the April 2018 update for mobile has been concealed // we can not find many of the new features of Windows 10, but I think the basics are there // after all, the update states that it is worth the wait & your phone will have an even better functionality //

    Whilst i admire your persistence in the face of some salty comments i don't think quoting the boiler plate text that appears on every update, even the very broken ones, helps to make your case 😁

    Apple has a phone... Google has a phone.... Why not Microsoft...? And these were all silicon valley. start up companies....? Whether you like it or not, a mobile handset is the super gadget of the future. Why is Microsoft, with know-how, opportunity to have the best handset in the world, not doing so...?

    Something must be wrong somewhere...!

    Some self centred indivvidual must be doing in the company.

    To revive mobility, Microsoft would have to spend billions$$$. Not going to happen with a company that appears to be interested more in enterprise business than consumer. 

    Secondly, even if they did do a reboot (again), you still have the issue of apps. Can't imagine any company spending a dime on what would be the 5th reboot. Microsoft couldnt get longtime partners to create apps for printers, which would be my starting point for apps. 

    I just can't see a path forward for another attempt at mobile. A Surface phone could have been a flagship phone, with windows phones as lower priced units. Do i think there is a space for a third mobile system? Yes. It just doesnt unclude Microsoft.
