++ the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones is discontinued, but many of them are still in action and competitive. In my opinion, the timing for their launch alongside the first versions of Windows 10 mobile has been a problem (later versions of Windows 10 mobile are more competitive). I compare the path of Microsoft Lumia phones with the path of Mercedes F1 Team. If you have perseverance, you can win, but you need to have realistic intermediary goals. You must not be number one from the start, but rather be on the field, with competitive, distinctive devices (1% market share can be achieved with the core fans of Microsoft Windows). 1% is not a small number of users & translates to even more when we focus on Windows users. So my question is for Microsoft & fans // is it possible to continue the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumias for the fans of the brand & Windows ? // ++ #theWindowsthatneversleeps +

MS appear to want an eco system in which windows is across a range of devices and the 'phone' aspect is just another app.so if suppliers choose to create a Mobile form factor that supports windows it will be a w10 'phone' by default

MS don't appear to know what they want or are doing.

Windows 10 Mobile is dead and there isn't another version of Windows 10 that supports a mobile form factor. Unless you want to call a "pocketable" tablet with voice call support a phone - I wouldn't.

- there is a thinking process in action regarding the strategy // plans can change as the market & technological conditions evolve // if there is an active thinking process, then the subjects (Windows 10 mobile) exist // there is some proof to this : many apps, e.g. Microsoft to-do or the Microsoft Store come with significant improvements // the April 2018 update has been initially labelled as version 1803 //
- the foldable device is a new category & maybe will be released in 2019 if it is thoroughly tested & achieves + results in these tests
- Windows Phones have been way better tested & hope for a bright future for the OS & Microsoft Lumia (the snow can be bright) //
- Disney magic Kingdoms with new substantial updates, new updates also for the MSN apps (for other platforms' users there is the MS News app)
- #Independence Day may inspire Microsoft to win market share through the snowball effect (you build a useful product & then the users realize direct marketing promotion for you & they gain strength through the snowball effect). Success ! this is also the way for #Windows10mobile & #Lumia.

Windows 10 Mobile is dead. Whatever is being developed, if anything, is not Windows 10 Mobile. The April update is version 1803, just not for Mobile. A mis-labelled maintenance update is just that - an error, not a strategy. Insider program for Mobile was officially discontinued several months ago, so clearly there is nothing being developed if there is nothing to beta test.

Yes, maybe, if and whenever it happens. Completely irrelevant to the current discussion, as it is a new device category (you are absolutely correct), so it is not a phone and will not run Windows 10 mobile.

There is no future for Windows 10 Mobile or Lumia. Even this support board is in the process of being discontinued. Please stop deluding yourself.
