++ the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones is discontinued, but many of them are still in action and competitive. In my opinion, the timing for their launch alongside the first versions of Windows 10 mobile has been a problem (later versions of Windows 10 mobile are more competitive). I compare the path of Microsoft Lumia phones with the path of Mercedes F1 Team. If you have perseverance, you can win, but you need to have realistic intermediary goals. You must not be number one from the start, but rather be on the field, with competitive, distinctive devices (1% market share can be achieved with the core fans of Microsoft Windows). 1% is not a small number of users & translates to even more when we focus on Windows users. So my question is for Microsoft & fans // is it possible to continue the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumias for the fans of the brand & Windows ? // ++ #theWindowsthatneversleeps +

...Speaking of which, I happen to have an extra Nokia 1520 running Windows 10 (Locked to AT&T) which I don't use any more as I got a newer unlocked Nokia 1520 (was New In Box and the seller kindly put Windows 10/Edge on it before they shipped it) but I'd kind of like to try to put Android on my spare phone just to see if it can be done. Has anyone tried putting Android on a Windows phone? If so...how?

you might. But Microsoft doesn't and the overwhelming number of mobile phone users definitely don't. Its a dead operating system.
++ the operating system is built in order to last many years ++ you can have problems with the battery, the hardware & on the software side with the outdated browser or losing access to the store or installed apps not working ++ Microsoft has spent on some strong gaming companies or GITHUB or NUANCE (or would have spent on simple apps, e.g. Tik Tok or Pinterest) more than for Windows Mobile ++ there have been plenty of resources, but no vision from the decision makers ++ it's a multi-platform & cross-platform mobile world & in such a world there has been room for a Microsoft Mobile arm based on ARM (even with a Goodbye, Windows phone users should have had access to ARM based apps & an up-to-date Microsoft browser as was the case with Windows 7, 8, 8.1). With more than 1 billion PC users & with a 5-year business plan Microsoft can have tens of millions of Windows phone users (they expressed interest for Tik Tok, Pinterest or discord exactly for that reason, i.e. to have a user community).
Speaking of ARM based apps, I don't see anymore of those apps (aside from UWP and old XAP apps for WP and ARM apps for Windows RT). All you see now are x86 and x64 architecture apps. What's up with ARM? Is the architecture that bad? I understand the end of support for Windows Phone and Windows RT. What happened with Windows 10 on ARM? Where is it? Where are the ARM based devices (phones aside)? Is this why Windows 10X was put on ice?
