++ the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones is discontinued, but many of them are still in action and competitive. In my opinion, the timing for their launch alongside the first versions of Windows 10 mobile has been a problem (later versions of Windows 10 mobile are more competitive). I compare the path of Microsoft Lumia phones with the path of Mercedes F1 Team. If you have perseverance, you can win, but you need to have realistic intermediary goals. You must not be number one from the start, but rather be on the field, with competitive, distinctive devices (1% market share can be achieved with the core fans of Microsoft Windows). 1% is not a small number of users & translates to even more when we focus on Windows users. So my question is for Microsoft & fans // is it possible to continue the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumias for the fans of the brand & Windows ? // ++ #theWindowsthatneversleeps +

Million dollar questions...
When will Windows 10 Mobile lose access to the Microsoft Store? Will it be in December 2021? When will anti-theft features end? December 31, 2021? I know that it could happen. I want to prepare for this as soon as possible.

Generally speaking, MS mobile support ended some time ago when security updates ceased. That's about the time I decided to switch although I'd been thinking about it for some time. I'd run into ongoing problems with vendors such as my bank dropping the WINDOWS version of their phone app. I literally woke up and couldn't use an app to look at my account although I could still get to it through a browser. More particularly, MS is dropping their support for their own office apps this January. That doesn't mean that the old app won't run on your phone right away, but you don't know when that happen.
They haven't given a day for closing the store to WIN10 mobile apps, but they haven't said they won't.
As for anti-theft, I guess the best the average person can do is to password their SIM and tie that to their startup protocol.
I'd start planning to switch sooner rather than later. I hated doing it, but I just got tired of watching my options shut down.
I have a backup phone. I can do without most of the apps. Really. I never needed all those 1001 apps that Android has anyway. So I am good. I had a feature phone for years and I did quite well with it. They can just open source Windows 10 Mobile to us when Windows 10 is completely rebuilt. That is all. Or do something when Project Latte (may the project be successful) and Windows 10X (may the OS be a success) comes out.
I absolutely love my Nokia Lumia 1520, and when I started having some issues with my original phone, I found a new in box one on eBay. I asked the seller if they would load Win10 & Edge before shipping & they did. New phone works great. So far none of the phones currently on the market compare, so I'll stay w/Lumia until nothing works anymore. Shame on MS for such poor marketing strategies, and for totally underestimating their competition.
I agree with you. I will use Windows 10 Mobile until nothing works. I am getting the apps I know I will use and if I can sideload apps, I am doing just that. When all of that fails, then I will embrace one of the other two OSes to my bosom.
