++ the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones is discontinued, but many of them are still in action and competitive. In my opinion, the timing for their launch alongside the first versions of Windows 10 mobile has been a problem (later versions of Windows 10 mobile are more competitive). I compare the path of Microsoft Lumia phones with the path of Mercedes F1 Team. If you have perseverance, you can win, but you need to have realistic intermediary goals. You must not be number one from the start, but rather be on the field, with competitive, distinctive devices (1% market share can be achieved with the core fans of Microsoft Windows). 1% is not a small number of users & translates to even more when we focus on Windows users. So my question is for Microsoft & fans // is it possible to continue the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumias for the fans of the brand & Windows ? // ++  #theWindowsthatneversleeps +

    ++ it is so impressive that Windows ARM on 2 in 1 (so partially mobile) devices has achieved a promising future (based on the pre-event leaks) ++ Microsoft Lumia is impressive (for me sure it is) & the users should hope for a comeback in the 5G era //

    Let me translate: MS has just announced,

    " Introducing Surface Duo: Yes, Microsoft will release a dual-screen Android phone"

    That's right, MS is announcing their return to the phone market, but it won't be a WINDOWS phone - it will be an Android phone courtesy of MS getting together with Google. Smething told me I was making a good choice when I dropped my late, lamented Lumia 735 for a Samsung A50. BTW, Outlook for Android runs just fine on my new tech.

    ++ you missed the thread CFORDG ++ your great answer has its place in the Surface line threads (your finding is obviously the SURFACE DUO) ++ if you want access to the majority of apps, then go the Android way ++ I am staying on the Windows 10 mobile ship & waiting from reinforcements from the brave CEO & other heroes from Microsoft (your Surface Duo hardly will achieve Windows 10 mobile's 2-3% market share in the US or its double digit results in some important European markets)

    PS : discontinued means simply discontinued (until better market conditions, better visions & so on) //

    ++ the October 10B 2019 update has arrived for v.1709 of Windows 10 mobile & in this month we also have a rare update to Microsoft Mahjong //
