++ the future of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones ++

++ the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones is discontinued, but many of them are still in action and competitive. In my opinion, the timing for their launch alongside the first versions of Windows 10 mobile has been a problem (later versions of Windows 10 mobile are more competitive). I compare the path of Microsoft Lumia phones with the path of Mercedes F1 Team. If you have perseverance, you can win, but you need to have realistic intermediary goals. You must not be number one from the start, but rather be on the field, with competitive, distinctive devices (1% market share can be achieved with the core fans of Microsoft Windows). 1% is not a small number of users & translates to even more when we focus on Windows users. So my question is for Microsoft & fans // is it possible to continue the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumias for the fans of the brand & Windows ? // ++  #theWindowsthatneversleeps +

    • as apps like Fox News or NBC News official apps are no longer available in the MS store, a solution might be for Windows Mobile users a signing up to the news organizations' newsletters, which really works (of course the apps are still working on Windows Mobile versions if you own them or have had a backup)
    • the fb app family leaves Windows 10 mobile & after they are solving all their issues with regulators can come back one day (maybe as PWAs like twitter did) ++ if you cannot find third party apps, still the users can rely on MS edge ++

++ still impressed by the many apps available for Windows Mobile (just filter down the store to the mobile category & this ARM arm is really impressive & deserves to be saved)

++ finally hope that Microsoft Lumia will learn from Rocky Balboas lesson of "keep moving forward"

    • as the NBA playoffs start, I just have been thinking to spot some new parallels : clearly there are some news, which are not encouraging (some  MS translator app features will take a break & looks like the app itself will be not downloadable for Windows Phones ++ the official presentation of the Lumia line on the Microsoft website is gone, although the user guides can still be found) & I think the situation somewhat looks like the Los Angeles Clippers game vs the 2 time defending champ Golden State Warriors ++ the users can have the tendency to leave early this mobile OS game, just like some Los Angeles Clippers fans would be tempted to leave at the end of the 3rd Quarter ++ but brave users can stay & not forget they have tickets for this game & every nice play or basket is worth to be watched & appreciated //

++ PS MS translator is really great, but translation it is possible also trough the browser ; GSM arena still provides a competitive presentation of the Lumia line //

the browser? you mean the new Chromium browser?

I cannot believe that yet another app is going away? how can you do that with a dead os?

if someone wants to throw money away, buy my 950. hell, i'll throw in a 645, and a 4-something or other. all mint. all three for $250, plus you pay shipping. I need the space for electronics that actually function.

Maybe I'll print this out off my phone. oh. what? thats not possible on a Windoh! phone?
