++ the future of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones ++

++ the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones is discontinued, but many of them are still in action and competitive. In my opinion, the timing for their launch alongside the first versions of Windows 10 mobile has been a problem (later versions of Windows 10 mobile are more competitive). I compare the path of Microsoft Lumia phones with the path of Mercedes F1 Team. If you have perseverance, you can win, but you need to have realistic intermediary goals. You must not be number one from the start, but rather be on the field, with competitive, distinctive devices (1% market share can be achieved with the core fans of Microsoft Windows). 1% is not a small number of users & translates to even more when we focus on Windows users. So my question is for Microsoft & fans // is it possible to continue the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumias for the fans of the brand & Windows ? // ++  #theWindowsthatneversleeps +

The ship has already sunk and I had absolutely nothing to do with it. Just stating the obvious.

+will see what will happen & if you can see it there are encouraging signs surely for Windows Phone // a maintained ship is still in service &if you like the process a comeback is on the horizon // prepping for #Ascension Day //

    • Microsoft has a mobile strategy & still invests on innovation based disruptive business models, e.g. PWAs can populate the Microsoft Store //
    • like in F1, the team has to optimize the settings & the different features to be competitive in the main areas : so software is doing quite well, the Microsoft Store needs keeping on form the existing apps & close the gaps, cameras still competitive, the flagships are powerful & some can rival with PC power // maybe the last update has been a concealed 1803 // one of Microsoft great promises has been that no customer will be left behind, after all they are now part of the Microsoft Community of users // so it is an opinion that every Lumia has to have the chance to be active at least 5 years //

    • maybe the April 2018 update also has happened in a concealed way also for supported Windows Phones ++ Twitter's PWA runs only on the April 2018 update + so if it runs on supported Windows Phones then they have got (at least in part) the April 2018 update
    • so maybe we are in + submarine style ++

Continue manufacturing for the fans of Microsoft who are very many worldwide.

Yes - surely it wouldn't cost Microsoft too much to have 2 or 3 Lumia phones in their store, being updated yearly and only being sold direct by Microsoft?
