- looks like the importance of Windows 10 mobile has increased yet again ++ devices running this stunning OS will be a fortress for EdgeHTML ++ in the past month Windows Phones have consolidated their 3rd place on the smartphone OS podium ++
++ the future of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones ++
++ the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones is discontinued, but many of them are still in action and competitive. In my opinion, the timing for their launch alongside the first versions of Windows 10 mobile has been a problem (later versions of Windows 10 mobile are more competitive). I compare the path of Microsoft Lumia phones with the path of Mercedes F1 Team. If you have perseverance, you can win, but you need to have realistic intermediary goals. You must not be number one from the start, but rather be on the field, with competitive, distinctive devices (1% market share can be achieved with the core fans of Microsoft Windows). 1% is not a small number of users & translates to even more when we focus on Windows users. So my question is for Microsoft & fans // is it possible to continue the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumias for the fans of the brand & Windows ? // ++ #theWindowsthatneversleeps +

2018-12-04T21:29:43+00:00 - company officials once have said that the company should be in mobile (i.e. direct mobile ambitions), if it has something unique
- at the moment we can see that the unique Windows 10 mobile & newly (rumors) also the impressive Microsoft Edge is in peril & if this goes in this way the company will lose some real growth possibilities & personality
- I think they should really watch at least 10 years of Formula 1 to understand better competition & the need for perseverance & the fact that a good product in itself is a victory //

This right here is the truth.

2018-12-04T08:14:18+00:00 Many thanks Szilard for a prompt positive response to my issue. My 640 XL is still active and sound. I wanted to upgrade to 950 XL, hadn't there been uncertainties about the future of the phones. Window phones had the potential to be the best in the world, and still can.
Let them relaunch and first concentrate and try the market with just three distinct models only;... From current models, 640 XL; 950 XL can be picked for further technical improvements and a new super model, to be known as 5800 XL added to them. The new super model must operate on cutting edge technology, be flawless and superior to any other phone in the market. And in every region where you have a presence, the first thing to put up must be a well equiped service centre to deal with after sales trouble shooting issues.
Features in the new model must entail some firsts in the mobile world....like e.g. Being able to be preset to turn on or off, make a call, or send mail at a given time automatically...just to mention, but a few.
If the market doesn't come to you, sue me....

2018-12-04T05:24:29+00:00 - great to hear that the Chris' Lumia XL is still active & hope that still useful ++ in previous discussions the contributors have specified that the app in question is a third party app so its functionality it depends primarily on that third party support, which at the moment may be discontinued
++ as an average user do not need the app & can use the standard Microsoft app //
++ when they will have time more experienced users may provide better answers ++ still try to use your Lumia //
