++ the future of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones ++

++ the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones is discontinued, but many of them are still in action and competitive. In my opinion, the timing for their launch alongside the first versions of Windows 10 mobile has been a problem (later versions of Windows 10 mobile are more competitive). I compare the path of Microsoft Lumia phones with the path of Mercedes F1 Team. If you have perseverance, you can win, but you need to have realistic intermediary goals. You must not be number one from the start, but rather be on the field, with competitive, distinctive devices (1% market share can be achieved with the core fans of Microsoft Windows). 1% is not a small number of users & translates to even more when we focus on Windows users. So my question is for Microsoft & fans // is it possible to continue the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumias for the fans of the brand & Windows ? // ++  #theWindowsthatneversleeps +

    Be careful. I have AT&T and I found if I put my sim into another (Samsung) phone just to try it out when I put it back in my Nokia 1520 it wouldn't work. I had to call them to reactivate my sim as they were under the impression my phone didn't have 4g...which it did. Now 2 years later and I finally got tired of losing apps I got an Android phone. If anyone out there is looking for a phone that has the same screen size as the 1520 look at Blu phones. I recently got a Blu G91 Pro and while the phone is slightly less wide I found the screen display was the same as the 1520. And it was only $200. I'm still adjusting to Android/Google but I'm slowly getting around it.

    I still use my Lumia 640XL everyday for phone calls and texts. There is no other voice to text system that works as well. I can speak naturally and the text is properly punctuated. Android certainly doesn't do that.

    I have an Android 11 phone and it's horrible for speaking texts. I have an Android because of course apps are no longer available or supported on WP.

    If they came out with a modern phone I would buy it in a heartbeat. Sadly, that's not going to happen.,

    But it's so easy and intuitive to use the old Windows phone.

    I'll keep it as long as it works. Fortunately, it's 4G so should be supported for a while yet.

    ++ now Windows (10) Mobile fans can see a part of what could have been a competitive future for Windows phone, but now the company invested 10X (10 TIMES) the Windows phone investment into a gaming company (ACTIVISION) & the bill reaches 69 BILLION $ & there are stats that show that Windows phone was not a losing business even in 2016 ++

    ++ with an up-to-date browser the classic Windows 10 mobile devices would be still very competitive & it's still possible to use them as useful backup & in many areas as joint prime devices.

    ++ many things do work well, even apps that are no longer available for download (e.g. some news apps Wall Street Journal; Fox News, NBC or Translator) & Windows deserves a mobile arm (Windows 11 officially will not be available for this small inch size, but maybe one day for that Duo foldable device ++ besides there was some type of peace agreement in the past between Microsoft & Google & probably this is a reason why Microsoft retreated from the mobile phone segment & in the general stock market ride the company has surpassed the 2 trillion $ valuation, but the #1 spot just (or yet) was a little bit too far (the current leadership can come short to the #1 spot & maybe a quietly growing Windows (10/11) mobile could have helped with that ++ now they can run Android apps & the Android platform is great, but the market is better for the users with more platforms, options & competition.
