++ the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones is discontinued, but many of them are still in action and competitive. In my opinion, the timing for their launch alongside the first versions of Windows 10 mobile has been a problem (later versions of Windows 10 mobile are more competitive). I compare the path of Microsoft Lumia phones with the path of Mercedes F1 Team. If you have perseverance, you can win, but you need to have realistic intermediary goals. You must not be number one from the start, but rather be on the field, with competitive, distinctive devices (1% market share can be achieved with the core fans of Microsoft Windows). 1% is not a small number of users & translates to even more when we focus on Windows users. So my question is for Microsoft & fans // is it possible to continue the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumias for the fans of the brand & Windows ? // ++ #theWindowsthatneversleeps +

2019-03-18T18:37:03+00:00 Nokia Lumia 1020 and 2520 are still on 8.1 update. Don't understand why? But Lumia 950 is now on 10 which is very good. I hope they will continue manufacturing the smartphones so the fans of Microsoft must not have to go anywhere to buy other low specs mobiles at a high price.

2019-03-18T12:17:12+00:00 - 2019 could be a year without a Windows (10) Mobile device in the Microsoft Store ++ surely this would be disappointing for Windows Fans (Windows OS & fans can deserve the chance to be represented in the mobile world) ++ in the term of the new leadership the fans have had the chance to benefit from the best Windows Mobile experience & flagships with potential to open up the market for years to come // ++ the 10 year challenge is on & after some years the fans can experience this anniversary with their Lumias & Windows Phones //

2019-03-16T00:17:29+00:00 - as Sega's Sonic would say it "YEAH", but still we can appreciate 100s of functional & updated apps, an impressive UI (it is a great thing that even topics from MSN apps can be shown on the Home screen) ++ maybe this great OS will be headed to the tech museum, but users can be happy, as even some Windows phones manufactured in 2014 still can benefit from support ++ for me the opinions of users are of great practical value (the end of support FAQ quotes are not something new & are known for months or even from Q4 2017) //

"... Microsoft recommends users to move to an Android or iOS device when Windows 10 Mobile is discontinued, emphasizing that all of its apps are available on these platforms too."
Also relevant to our discussion was the following from an article with a link on the page concerning Enpass deciding to end its app for W10mobile because MS had essentially dropped its support for UWP for mobile. Concerning MS own stable of W10mobile apps, the article noted,
"... Microsoft itself ended support for three of its apps – Skype for Business, Microsoft Teams, and Yammer for Windows Phones."
