++ the future of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones ++

++ the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones is discontinued, but many of them are still in action and competitive. In my opinion, the timing for their launch alongside the first versions of Windows 10 mobile has been a problem (later versions of Windows 10 mobile are more competitive). I compare the path of Microsoft Lumia phones with the path of Mercedes F1 Team. If you have perseverance, you can win, but you need to have realistic intermediary goals. You must not be number one from the start, but rather be on the field, with competitive, distinctive devices (1% market share can be achieved with the core fans of Microsoft Windows). 1% is not a small number of users & translates to even more when we focus on Windows users. So my question is for Microsoft & fans // is it possible to continue the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumias for the fans of the brand & Windows ? // ++  #theWindowsthatneversleeps +

    • #coder15 has come up with a NEW YouTube management app for Windows Phone versions in 2019 ("one small step for a man" ... )
    • it would be great if Microsoft would find a + role for Clippy & save Windows (10) mobile, which even in Microsoft Community (the symbol) is marked with black (but of course being in the black translates into + territory in accounting & probably that can be the story also for Microsoft)  ++ the words of VP Mike Pence can form the blueprint for success for Windows (10) mobile //

++ on the data front looks like Huawei has an experimental mobile OS //

We breed in imagination and possibilities to cling to any hope about the continuation of our beloved devices..... But, alas, when we're just about to wander beyond our territory, 93tid,  shepherds the flock back to the homestead.... And a very forlorn homestead indeed.

Nokia Lumia 1020 and 2520 are still on 8.1 update. Don't understand why?

Because they are not supported for Windows 10 Mobile.

But Lumia 950 is now on 10 which is very good

Now ? It was released from the factory on Windows 10 Mobile back in 2015. Did you just wake up from a 3 year long nap ?

I hope they will continue manufacturing the smartphones

Continue ? They stopped manufacturing in 2016, shut down and sold the production facilities - again, have you been in a coma the last 3 years ?
