++ the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones is discontinued, but many of them are still in action and competitive. In my opinion, the timing for their launch alongside the first versions of Windows 10 mobile has been a problem (later versions of Windows 10 mobile are more competitive). I compare the path of Microsoft Lumia phones with the path of Mercedes F1 Team. If you have perseverance, you can win, but you need to have realistic intermediary goals. You must not be number one from the start, but rather be on the field, with competitive, distinctive devices (1% market share can be achieved with the core fans of Microsoft Windows). 1% is not a small number of users & translates to even more when we focus on Windows users. So my question is for Microsoft & fans // is it possible to continue the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumias for the fans of the brand & Windows ? // ++  #theWindowsthatneversleeps +

    Neither devices, nor OS failed as such.

    They have been terminated from development and then from support by Microsoft.

    This is a big difference.

    Go hereand observe for yourself. There is quite a considerable 'bump' around 2014 and the only reason it did not lift off is the utter uncertainty that Microsoft created around the future of the platform. These worries turned real.

    Look at the Android early years. It also had low market share initially, but the licensing model, advertisement and help in writing apps/SDKs won. To remind you how terrible Android and its devices were otherwise initially? Compared to just any version of metro-styled mobile Windows.

    So once again, it did not fail. It was failed, quite intentionally.

    the fb page? the one where the last post is from 2017, and 3 of the first ones you see are from... ME, back in 2014. So thats a complete and utter joke. 

    Did you mention Change.com? Wasn't that where a signature drive to 25k in support of Mobile failed? utterly failed. 

    Difficult start? Of what? Its over, sunshine. As a device and OS, it completely failed.
