++ the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones is discontinued, but many of them are still in action and competitive. In my opinion, the timing for their launch alongside the first versions of Windows 10 mobile has been a problem (later versions of Windows 10 mobile are more competitive). I compare the path of Microsoft Lumia phones with the path of Mercedes F1 Team. If you have perseverance, you can win, but you need to have realistic intermediary goals. You must not be number one from the start, but rather be on the field, with competitive, distinctive devices (1% market share can be achieved with the core fans of Microsoft Windows). 1% is not a small number of users & translates to even more when we focus on Windows users. So my question is for Microsoft & fans // is it possible to continue the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumias for the fans of the brand & Windows ? // ++  #theWindowsthatneversleeps +

    • well our pride the flagships have been launched less than 3 years ago // do not worry the platform receives mainstream support until December 10 (Human Rights Day) 2019 so do not abandon your positions // fight to the end // we are the champions of the smartphone business in terms of security // repeat mainstream support at least until Q4 2019 // yes we receive only fixes & this is how we become better week by week // Android 5, 6 receives fewer fixes I can bet on that // we are getting faster, not like some IPhone models //

    So pls don't kill Windows Phone and please give Continuous updates. 

    It seems that too many people are not aware that Windows Phone/Mobile is already officially dead since half a year and unofficially dead for at least 3 years now. There is nothing to debate, it is already done and Microsoft have not just turned the page and closed the chapter, but put the book into the archives. There will be no more software nor hardware development, only bug fixes and security patches, i.e. basic maintenance until the official end of line support.

    I'm also big fan of Windows Phones. Like me too many peoples r in world wide. So pls don't kill Windows Phone and plss give Continuous updates. Just Restart again like how Nokia did Freshly and Gain its customers again. Not only me who wants Windows OS but world wide Specially in India.

    A bronze doesn't equal a KO.... DO NOT throw the baby with the the birth water.... You can't design the best phone in the world., then go ahead and abandon it in its infancy. .....NOT someone in his right senses Lazar

    • a disappointing news for the company : Airbus is dropping Office in favor of Google's cloud product // some say that by becoming an app developer for rival platforms, Microsoft reaches all their costumers // maybe it reaches, but only as an app developer & that is another league // the majority of companies have business portfolios & it is very common, that not all the items bring profit at the same time // every business has its cycle & can have the ability renew itself especially when you have many hundred thousand costumers // so success Microsoft in avoiding your first defeat (bronze medal not equals a KO) as an OS developer.
