++ the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones is discontinued, but many of them are still in action and competitive. In my opinion, the timing for their launch alongside the first versions of Windows 10 mobile has been a problem (later versions of Windows 10 mobile are more competitive). I compare the path of Microsoft Lumia phones with the path of Mercedes F1 Team. If you have perseverance, you can win, but you need to have realistic intermediary goals. You must not be number one from the start, but rather be on the field, with competitive, distinctive devices (1% market share can be achieved with the core fans of Microsoft Windows). 1% is not a small number of users & translates to even more when we focus on Windows users. So my question is for Microsoft & fans // is it possible to continue the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumias for the fans of the brand & Windows ? // ++  #theWindowsthatneversleeps +

    The device's history explains the weird pricing. - I did say it was *some* encouragement :)

    As I understand it the name has been sold to a different company who are the ones committed to the new production.

    But when that phone was released, by a different company mind you, it was sold for $79. So this company jacked the price up, on a phone originally released in 2015, to really really bad reviews, then dropped the price. Its not new. 

    And as far as i can tell, Wiley is still in bankruptcy.

    Now be fair, they upgraded it to Green Screen of Death with Win 10.

    The WileyFox news is some encouragement, although they did go through bankruptcy they have committed to production of new W10 phone which flies in the face of our opposition to Szilard's enthusiasm - however its being sold in the UK at half its original price so their business model is.... interesting.
