++ the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones is discontinued, but many of them are still in action and competitive. In my opinion, the timing for their launch alongside the first versions of Windows 10 mobile has been a problem (later versions of Windows 10 mobile are more competitive). I compare the path of Microsoft Lumia phones with the path of Mercedes F1 Team. If you have perseverance, you can win, but you need to have realistic intermediary goals. You must not be number one from the start, but rather be on the field, with competitive, distinctive devices (1% market share can be achieved with the core fans of Microsoft Windows). 1% is not a small number of users & translates to even more when we focus on Windows users. So my question is for Microsoft & fans // is it possible to continue the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumias for the fans of the brand & Windows ? // ++  #theWindowsthatneversleeps +

    • when I used to watch NBA games inevitably have seen teams in a transformation process & fans that are enjoying this transformation process even though their team struggles with the results // so the key is to enjoy this process of rebuilding & relaunching & to observe the full part of the bottle // another example : there was a very pessimistic future for Buick cars & now they are competitive // transformation processes are possible & Microsoft is a great high-tech company // you have to enjoy the competition & not just approve unconditionally the market leaders //

    Small steps? How about no steps. Its done. Put a fork in it. Windows 10 is a mess, desktop and whatever Mobile is (i suspect its to make sure no lawsuits). No apps. No hardware equals no OS.

    • there has been the sad direction by the majority of the leadership team to abandon actively promoting the platform (an exception is the case of Groove Music, which is native on Windows 10 mobile & it will be retired on the other platforms ; another exception is that fluent design has made its way to Win10mobile on some native UWP apps, so at least we can have an idea of how it looks like) & at that conference this direction had been visible. If the management team changes its mind they need to come back with small steps, because blockbuster entries have lost their credibility. //  

    ++ the mail synchronization issues have been solved in my case by one of the bigger updates & if these are not working then the only possibility is to check the mail through the browser. //

    Agreed the only way we can move forward is to help ourselves. If it all possible. When i switched phones and hit email problems a complete reload of the o's fixed it using the insider preview

    I agree with what your saying but once again, you are ignoring the main point. at this point customers will not buy microsoft mobile because they don't  trust the brand, this excludes people like us who are perhaps more technically aware or less willing to accept the walled gardens and intrusive social media aspects of other brands but we are by no means a platform for a global mobile business.
