++ the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones is discontinued, but many of them are still in action and competitive. In my opinion, the timing for their launch alongside the first versions of Windows 10 mobile has been a problem (later versions of Windows 10 mobile are more competitive). I compare the path of Microsoft Lumia phones with the path of Mercedes F1 Team. If you have perseverance, you can win, but you need to have realistic intermediary goals. You must not be number one from the start, but rather be on the field, with competitive, distinctive devices (1% market share can be achieved with the core fans of Microsoft Windows). 1% is not a small number of users & translates to even more when we focus on Windows users. So my question is for Microsoft & fans // is it possible to continue the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumias for the fans of the brand & Windows ? // ++  #theWindowsthatneversleeps +

    • https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0GAqeUZ6idE ++ looks like we have to change this well known slogan to its reverse & fight & do not switch  ++ the company's mission statement requires that all customers on the planet to be helped, including the old Windows fans & at this point a switch does not place a Windows in your pocket (even with all the app mirror effects)

    ++ some 1.5 billion devices have been shiped in 2018 (approximately 85% running Android, which is not the mobile version of Windows& the CEO can realize it one day, the sooner the better for their competitivity) ++ the fans need a decent factory to deliver 15-50 million Windows Mobile devices per year & that is it & can be profitable & the company can say they are just consolidating the Windows fan club & the Universal Windows Platform market share //

    ++ Cortana is the most funny assistant & now her importance can be reduced as well ++ I think it is room for a better strategy ++

    The primary use of any phone, is to make and receive calls... As long as that's not disabled and support for Email and WhatsApp also remain intact, we'll continue to take good care of our highly prized handsets... My gratitude and pleasure to all Microsoft Community members for keeping a very vibrant, eye opening forum.

    ++ on the data front : Windows it is used even in the White House situation room (so would be great to have there some matching handsets) ++ WileyFox Pro is more affordable ++ when you send emails from a Windows 10 mobile device you get the automatic signature that reads : sent from your Windows 10 device (so Windows 10 mobile could power a whole new range of Windows Mobile devices) ++ follow Windows Central , MS Poweruser or Windows latest for news on Windows 10 Mobile

    ++ still the live tiles UI is my favorite & it is impressive, especially with some fluent design enhancements  //

    ++ a year or so I have followed the stock quotations of the main US publicly traded companies & I think the key for Microsoft's successful resistance on the market in December 2018 has been its multilateralism in many areas of development, while the competition has some dominant driving areas & when those have weaknesses, then their stock quotation also suffers //

    ++ many updated Gameloft & Microsoft Xbox games are available in the MS store for mobile, e.g. Age of empires Castle Siege  //  so there are still many things to do on the most secure mobile platform on planet Earth & beyond //
