++ the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones is discontinued, but many of them are still in action and competitive. In my opinion, the timing for their launch alongside the first versions of Windows 10 mobile has been a problem (later versions of Windows 10 mobile are more competitive). I compare the path of Microsoft Lumia phones with the path of Mercedes F1 Team. If you have perseverance, you can win, but you need to have realistic intermediary goals. You must not be number one from the start, but rather be on the field, with competitive, distinctive devices (1% market share can be achieved with the core fans of Microsoft Windows). 1% is not a small number of users & translates to even more when we focus on Windows users. So my question is for Microsoft & fans // is it possible to continue the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumias for the fans of the brand & Windows ? // ++  #theWindowsthatneversleeps +

    I'm 535 user and last week I bought new 950 XL. I guess Project Astoria would help Windows Mobile. Nevertheless have to be happy with good camera and some apps and maps. It was 169 €.

    Project Astoria is dead and buried more than 2 years ago. You paid 100 EUR too much for the 950XL. Are you sure it is new or is it just new for you ?

    They told me it's barely used. Got it in the original box at local physical store with one month warranty. IMEI is clean and everything looks like new. Battery wear level is 0 %, according to AIDA64 app. When 950 XL came to our market, recommended retail price was €750. This phone is my new daily driver for who knows how long, I guess far beyond December 2019. If there is no bank app, an online bank should work via browser as long we have required personal digital certificate, but I'm not interested to have that kind of bank anyway.

    The packaging had some Spanish sales stickers but the phone itself went through normal oob start up with language choices

    I got mine from ebay 6 months ago - brand new in box. I'm in UK but I think it's Spanish stock
