++ the future of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones ++

• Windows 10 devices are beautiful & innovative, productive products & competition is important in the ICT sector : it is the way for development & user experience maximization // ++ have heard, that the current CEO did not get, why the world needs a 3rd mobile ecosystem. Let us not forget that many things, systems or even countries start from very low levels, e.g. the USA, OSs & many inventions. 

++ so here are a couple reasons : duopolies or monopolies (in some markets) are not great for users & development; Universal Windows Platform needs it, many Windows users need it, MS Edge needs it & if the company wants to keep pace with the biggest tech companies on the long run, then definitely needs Windows (10) Mobile devices & Lumias are emblematic for smartphone history.

++ Ballmer could have done a + job, but left without doing the decisive steps & the current CEO & Gates have not adventured in the phone business, because the market share differences were huge & yeah they want be winners, so they throw out the existing investment funds on many questionable projects, which will have questionable results, but who cares. Well in the smartphone era the company will not get easy wins & turning your back to the competition is not the solution & only make things worse for the company & community of users // inaction not an option, even the company name requires the competitiveness in the smartphone industry : smart, portable, micro-space, fast, daily-use //

• technically Windows Phones can resist many years even if Microsoft abandons them ++ in a smartphone market for the current & future generations the only way to succeed translates into competing & looking for the gap in every feature category & consolidating what makes the Windows 10 (mobile) user experience strong //

++ their strategy destroys MS edge's chances (the versions for other platforms are not changing the equation) & their biggest rival could soon dominate Microsoft in terms of market value at a ratio of 2:1 // 

++ with all their possibilities the company officials need to do a comprehensive SWOT analysis (simple fans can try for themselves as well) 📱 📱 

++ Windows fans may need various fruits in their pockets, but also Windows (10) Mobile phones //

+can be still happy that Windows 10 mobile is in top shape (even Windows Phone 8.1 can be used to feel the reminiscence of the Lumia Denim experience) ++ so when certain conditions are met a re-entry to full development mode is possible & protect the towers of the Universal Windows Platform //

• I think the Wiley Fox Pro is suitable for some administrative / business purposes & it was great to see some Windows Phone ad (can be evaluated in the category of Microsoft Lumia 650) // (Britain is a great F1 hub / cluster, so why not to manufacture some interesting phones - the Nokia McLaren has been a real project, so F1 is not as far as one may think :  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=200bl3A6sAw). 

++ I emphasize the opinion that Windows (10) Mobile powered phones can be the primary choice for Windows OS (primarily Windows 10) users & if so the best place to start a revival is in Europe, where in some key markets (FRA, ITA) Windows Phone even achieved double digit market shares (which is much more significant, if we translate it in relation to Windows 10 users). In the USA, Windows Phone has struggled for 4% overall market share, but again this translates into much more in relation to Windows 10 users.

++ I am happy to hear that Microsoft Lumias are still used for business purposes & in earlier posts I have mentioned Microsoft Lumias used by Delta Airlines, Stacy Johnson & I think a Nokia Lumia (with Windows 8) is in the Katy Perry "Roar" song (quite inspirational & one more reason to emphasize Microsoft's business interests - as there are more and more Windows 10 users, there will be a significant proportion that would benefit from a Windows Phone).

• obviously the only chance is to have version 1809 or 1903 or 1909 for Windows 10 mobile as an upgrade to version 1709 (btw the OS is getting better & it would be a total waste to wreck a so beautiful OS // mankind will be poorer without Windows Mobile) // Gestures & Touch are really improved ++ the touchscreens are more responsive ++ some fans are really thrilled // for enterprise costumers - conditionally - even Windows 7 will have a support line through 2023 // Windows 8.1 Lumia Denim will lose its relevance in fall 2018 - summer 2019 (it was quite a robust OS)

++ I think the users have to benefit from incentives to upgrade (at least some cards to buy stuff in the MS store or some symbolic or more consistent discounts to new devices)

++ & new devices are needed & Microsoft Lumia has to break the ice at latest in 2020 (January would be great) ++ they can roll out simultaneously in North America & Europe & then to all continents of the globe

• maybe we are part of a great journey (hope that Windows 10 will maintain its reputation & never gives up a great endeavor) //
