++ the future of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones ++

++ the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones is discontinued, but many of them are still in action and competitive. In my opinion, the timing for their launch alongside the first versions of Windows 10 mobile has been a problem (later versions of Windows 10 mobile are more competitive). I compare the path of Microsoft Lumia phones with the path of Mercedes F1 Team. If you have perseverance, you can win, but you need to have realistic intermediary goals. You must not be number one from the start, but rather be on the field, with competitive, distinctive devices (1% market share can be achieved with the core fans of Microsoft Windows). 1% is not a small number of users & translates to even more when we focus on Windows users. So my question is for Microsoft & fans // is it possible to continue the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumias for the fans of the brand & Windows ? // ++  #theWindowsthatneversleeps +

++ if you want great Android hardware there are  plenty of options in the market : Samsung, Asus, Nokia, Sony, Huawei, Xiaomi, Motorola, Alcatel etc. ++ it is difficult to differentiate in this Android field, so this is why Microsoft tries to be a force in the foldable category ++ Lumias represent the history of Windows phones & so it would be strange to launch them with Android (it would be like fitting a Ferrari engine into a BMW) ++ Lumias can go dark (e.g. when there is the disastrous message on the screen that there is no bootable option & then they are useless), but in general they can resist many years & I will try to keep them in action at least a decade //

++ maybe Windows Phone users have encountered the last time the now legendary phrase "we're getting there ... and it will be worth the wait" (btw. the December 2019 monthly cumulative security update was one of the smallest recorded) ++ to make a paralel to Formula 1 here is also the familiar "getting there Lewis" quote which has accompanied the world champion since 2014 : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLx2WZWilBc ++ Windows 10 mobile has been a great OS & in the heyday  of its store the great majority of third party apps were active also on this OS ++ I think Microsoft abandoned the OS, because they want to be winners & the distant third place reflected a loser image on the company ++ the product was great & so with a great marketing & distribution & adjusted outsourced production strategy it could have been made profitable  ++ the great loss here can be the disappointment of 10s of millions of Microsoft fans who liked Lumias on FB for example (but Microsoft is a big company & can ignore 40 million + users or try to meet their expectation otherwise) ++ my opinion is : a responsible company never destroys a great product //

++ Microsoft to-do, XBOX live, MSN Sports (in this case you can get a live tile for all your favorite teams as well & of course live scores), Movies & TV, Alarms & Clock, MSN apps in general all have functional live tiles ++ live tiles are a great + (a special mention to transparent live tiles) + when they are working & still nice when you have 2-3 changing images per app or game (these are more like sticky note reminders) ++ live tiles are the user interface element which made it possible for Microsoft to make a difference in mobile (& they cannot complain in the PC sector as well; those who think that eliminating them will bring back Windows XP or 7 experience are wrong, because the main advantage of those OSs has been the more safe & less data consuming update process & not the design) ++ if they will be pushed away, certainly they can come back with a new wave of leadership ++ my recommendation is to make them better or customizable using for example fluent design or add some effects (like in some presentations) ++ in games live tiles are more simple, but still offer info on the current update or player name & level e.g. Modern Combat 5 //
