As I have pointed out several times throughout this thread, Windows Mobile is over, dead, buried, not coming back. It already happened at least a couple of years ago, the page has been turned, chapter closed, book archived and taken to the vault in the basement. Nobody is listening, because nobody is interested and also there is virtually no one left to listen. Consumers have been abdicating for at least 3 years now, when it became glaringly obvious how this is going to end. Developers gave up earlier than that. Officially the end of all development of W10M was announced in November 2017, however your post sounds like you have just found out about it ? MS ended production of all phones in mid 2016 and the production facilities were sold off soon after.
I am not debating whether it was a good or bad OS, what went wrong, what could have been done differently, etc., this has already been done over and over again in other places on the web more suited to such discussions.
