++ the future of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones ++

++ the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones is discontinued, but many of them are still in action and competitive. In my opinion, the timing for their launch alongside the first versions of Windows 10 mobile has been a problem (later versions of Windows 10 mobile are more competitive). I compare the path of Microsoft Lumia phones with the path of Mercedes F1 Team. If you have perseverance, you can win, but you need to have realistic intermediary goals. You must not be number one from the start, but rather be on the field, with competitive, distinctive devices (1% market share can be achieved with the core fans of Microsoft Windows). 1% is not a small number of users & translates to even more when we focus on Windows users. So my question is for Microsoft & fans // is it possible to continue the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumias for the fans of the brand & Windows ? // ++  #theWindowsthatneversleeps +

    • Microsoft account based backup support has ended for some Gameloft games (like the impressive Asphalt 8 Airborne), but progress backup via FB account still possible & the game does not give up on innovations ++ the latest #SHOWDOWN MODE is a proof of that ++ racing here gives the feeling that Windows (10) Mobile is gearing up for the future ++

    • try the video management apps by developer VIDEO APPS MECHANIC ++ they could be performant ++ for the users (at the moment at least) this is the way : search the MS store for great apps, obtain good positions (pole positions in Formula 1 style) in MS Windows Mobile games, manage the Windows Mobile device in an optimal way ++

    2 Points:

    1. MS has been making cloud elements available to iOS devices for at least 2 years; I think the MS focus is facilitating interface with their cloud (Azure) environment instead of getting involved in the OS culture wars.
    2. I bought a Lumia 735 a few years ago because I needed a W10 mobile capable device that would be available when the OS was released. I was able to upgrade from 8 to 10 without a problem and have been able to update as well. I have stuck with it through dying apps and the end-of-service announcements and intend to go forward with it until I can't. My Lumia provides consistent map service, Outlook mail and calendar service that syncs with my PC, and the best WiFi tethering I have ever used working with both my Win10 laptop and my iOS 12.2 ipad. Also, and important to me, a replaceable battery instead of a sealed case. I have no reason to think that I will have any reason to drop my Lumia unless my carrier (Verizon) does something awful in that regard.

Best wishes - Go Forth & Conquer

    • as Sega's Sonic would say it "YEAH", but still we can appreciate 100s of functional & updated apps, an impressive UI (it is a great thing that even topics from MSN apps can be shown on the Home screen) ++ maybe this great OS will be headed to the tech museum, but users can be happy, as even some Windows phones manufactured in 2014 still can benefit from support ++ for me the opinions of users are of great practical value (the end of support FAQ quotes are not something new & are known for months or even from Q4 2017) //
