++ the future of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones ++

++ the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones is discontinued, but many of them are still in action and competitive. In my opinion, the timing for their launch alongside the first versions of Windows 10 mobile has been a problem (later versions of Windows 10 mobile are more competitive). I compare the path of Microsoft Lumia phones with the path of Mercedes F1 Team. If you have perseverance, you can win, but you need to have realistic intermediary goals. You must not be number one from the start, but rather be on the field, with competitive, distinctive devices (1% market share can be achieved with the core fans of Microsoft Windows). 1% is not a small number of users & translates to even more when we focus on Windows users. So my question is for Microsoft & fans // is it possible to continue the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumias for the fans of the brand & Windows ? // ++  #theWindowsthatneversleeps +

    • still many apps & games are updated & at better versions & is a great way to retire ++ it remembers me some bands which are in a retirement process, but still perform some world tours & after that hopefully can make some reunions in the future ++ if you give it a chance, your Windows Phone can outlast many devices of the competition ++ we need the competition in order to have better products, prices & customer experience ++ the foldable phone saga is getting more interesting with these 2000-2600 price range devices from Samsung & Huawei ++ these are like aircraft carriers & have their armada (18% vs. 13% market share) ++ without a strong Lumia line, a foldable Windows Mobile device can have more success near the laptop category ++

     ++ really hope that we will see foldable Microsoft devices, which will pave the way for some new Lumias (some months ago some interesting prototypes have emerged from Microsoft Research) ++ why not a foldable Lumia in the future ++

    ++ hope that there will be a large enough price range like with the discontinued (great) Lumia line ++ maybe we will need Cyber Monday & Christmas presents to achieve affordability

    ++ innovation has not to be a race in that the winner takes it all, instead the users can win more from competition, where many players can come up with something special

    ++ Microsoft Lumias still have solid social media numbers of 10s of millions & that is an indication of their popularity ++ the petitions are individual initiatives & we know that the solution to save Windows Mobile can come only from the company ++ that is why you must address directly to the company & not other platforms

    ++ currently Windows Mobile is like the Sleeping beauty & has no major influence on the company value ++ my opinion is that a successful Windows mobile device certainly can be another driving engine (Azure growth can be slower in time for example) that can drive the company to new heights ++ let us not forget that the hybrid Windows Mobile handsets have led the smartphone market between 2006-2008 ++

    • did you know : Microsoft Lumia has a decent following count on Twitter & over 42 million on fb, so there is a potential to include these Windows (10) Mobile & Windows Phone devices in a "brick by brick" rebuilding process ++ can we say that nothing compares to Microsoft Lumia in mobile OS world ++ let us give a try, after all in the term of the new Microsoft leadership we have seen powerful ideas & Lumia flagships

    ++ Internet Explorer can resist even until 2025 & beyond & I have hopes also for the EdgeHTML engine

    +++ until the system works do not abandon the Lumia ship ++ the Lumia user base will thank you ++
