++ the future of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones ++

++ the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones is discontinued, but many of them are still in action and competitive. In my opinion, the timing for their launch alongside the first versions of Windows 10 mobile has been a problem (later versions of Windows 10 mobile are more competitive). I compare the path of Microsoft Lumia phones with the path of Mercedes F1 Team. If you have perseverance, you can win, but you need to have realistic intermediary goals. You must not be number one from the start, but rather be on the field, with competitive, distinctive devices (1% market share can be achieved with the core fans of Microsoft Windows). 1% is not a small number of users & translates to even more when we focus on Windows users. So my question is for Microsoft & fans // is it possible to continue the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumias for the fans of the brand & Windows ? // ++  #theWindowsthatneversleeps +

‎I understand everything, but you don't even get to play Minecraft‎. (Translated from Russian)

Minecraft for Windows 10 Mobile had lost the ability to access, let alone sync, achievements from Windows Phones when the ability to send information from UWP apps to XBOX servers from those devices was lost in November 2020. That component was never repaired. As such, achievements from UWP apps were only unlockable from Windows 10 PCs. Now, with the May 16, 2022-shutdown of the ability to sync achievements from any game on Windows Phones, that is no longer possible. You can still play Minecraft for Windows 10 Mobile, but you will not unlock any achievements anymore.

I spoke to Support about the sudden shutdown and the short 3-month notice but I have not heard from them yet. True, 1% may not be a small number but developers are looking at what average folks use these days. Just as an aside, we see new Android and iPhones coming out fairly often but to me, they are all doing pretty much the same thing. Just a few things here and there are different and that is it. OS-wise, there is nothing new really. Does anyone notice this also?

++ the Lumia official twitter channels have lost their official blue checkmark & now the only twitter channel with a blue checkmark is LUMIA PUREVIEWS ++ on FB the Microsoft Lumia account still has its official blue checkmark and the like count did not decrease too much & is still above 40.5 million & this would be a valuable social media count for any serious enterprise in the world that aims for a global voice (there are still recent Lumia fan comments on the FB page) ++ there are a lot of offline dictionaries in the Microsoft Store with mobile reach & it's possible to search for them (one such identified group are the PRODICT offline dictionaries) ++

++ Huawei has achieved a greater integration level with android, but facts are that 69 billion $ is not sensational for a gaming company, whereas approximately 10% of the sum was a huge loss for an entire mobile platform (the mobile platform had many million users & these users have used more BING & Microsoft Edge than the company's current performance with BING & MS Edge on the Android platform) ++ Microsoft choosing Android on mobile was a cultural shift: in the past it was great to have the "my way" style for a strong software company vs. what happened after 2014/2015 when the company's own way has become less important & in some areas disappeared (became invisible & that will result in an invisible legacy too).
