I am having the same issue unfortunately. However, in my case the connection is simpler- that of a laptop to a Hisense 50 inch Smart 4k TV.
To answer the previous commenter's questions, here are the steps I have taken:
- Were you able to connect the laptop to your TV before? If yes, what changes were made on the laptop before the problem occurred?
Yes, I was able to. The initial connection and set up was a breeze. The laptop recognized the TV and we enjoyed two full days of casting.
- Which version of Windows 10 is currently installed? To check, kindly go to Settings > System > About, see Version.
Version 1803
- Are you able add the TV to Windows 10 before attempting to project to it? You may add the TV by going to
Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices> Add Bluetooth or other device, then select Wireless display or dock.
Yes, we have tried this too.
The TV is recognized but the laptop cannot connect to it successfully. However, the TV does go blank but then just hangs there till the laptop acknowledges that it couldn't connect. Then the TV reverts back to the Anyview Cast holding screen.
- What troubleshooting steps have you done so far? This is for us to know and avoid any duplication of efforts on your end.
I have done a full windows update as well as updating my video, display, and intel drivers.
