I am so sorry it has taking me so long to respond. I was able to fix it on my on by trial and era doing a lot of reading . And then fixing it all by resetting my computer, best thing is I shocked the hell out of myself by doing it on my own. I am one of those that have been afraid of a computer. thank you so much for responding, it is nice to know when I hit a snag in the future (in sure I will) there are people out there to untangle my snags.
Microsoft Store app missing.
What i did was the app reset. Now its nowhere . Not in Cortana, Apps and Features, etc. I ran the troubleshooter from Microsoft. both inbuilt and the one downloaded from MS. And I can get this message " you need a new app to open this ms-windows-store. "
Is it completely gone? or can I reregister it ?

Did it state a reason why or simply not respond at all? It won't hurt to progress directly to a repair/upgrade-install, if the computer will allow it...
Make a Win 10 Installation USB drive here...
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
Download Windows 10 -- currently, this is version 20H2
You download the MediaCreationTool20H2.exe, plug in an 8 GB/so USB drive, & double-click the tool to run. It could take up to 2 hours, but will create bootable media that could be used to clean install Windows, if the repair-install is ineffective. But for the repair-install, just open the Installation USB drive in File Explorer, & click Setup.exe. That could take another 2.5 hours to complete. It is a repair, if your computer is already 20H2; otherwise, it is an upgrade to 20H2. It will offer to keep apps, files & settings.
Tip: Turn off Controlled Folder Access at "Defender, Virus & Threat Protection, Manage Settings, Manage Controlled Folder Access", if you ever had turned it on. Otherwise, it will interfere near the end of the upgrade/repair-install.
