Microsoft Store app missing.

What i did was the app reset. Now its nowhere . Not in Cortana, Apps and Features, etc. I ran the troubleshooter from Microsoft. both inbuilt and the one downloaded from MS. And I can get this message " you need a new app to open this ms-windows-store. "

 Is it completely gone? or can I reregister it ?

    4 years later and this thread is still active. I've never seen anything like it in all my years using Microsoft products.

    after a day spending and trying everything what's on web prompt, PowerShell, new win account , restore to factory settings... only thig worked for me was download Windows 10 Update for October 2020. this is the link :                      https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10                                                                              I choose the option keep only personal file. it will reinstall the windows.

    My problem was solved agfter i have installed this update

    Window 10 october 2020

    Just hit the update now
