Thanks Andre,
I tried this several time, but without success, it keeps re-installing itself.
On youtube, I found a way to disable the updates through the Control Panel - Administrative tools - Services - Windows Updates and I am trying it to see if it works. I know that this will prevent any windows update to install, but if it works, I will try
the manual option.
I have had many issues with Windows 10 on this computer (version 1703 always failed to install and that is the reason why I am with version 1607) For example, the last update (just before the Windows 10 upgrade assistant appeared on my computer) stopped
a first time at 75% and when I restarted the computer, it stopped a second time at 81% before reverting to the old version on the second restart of the computer. Every attempt by the assistant failed.
I am sure I am not the only one with these types of problems and I grow every time more frustrated with Microsoft and its windows operating system which I used to like in the early days but I now hate every day a little bit more.
