Sorry Ric ......send me the link again. Yes, all music is out of "my music" on computer. Wmp still has all songs listed, but when tried to play any it would not. Got error message. I have restarted computer.
track numbers in front of song names in windows music library, windows 7
I have track numbers in front of some of my song names (not title) in my music libarary. How do I get rid of them. They are not in the "name" in WMP. I try to right click and rename and that doesn't work. I try going through properties into details and delete numbers in front of name, but it doesn't stay changed. Tried to edit in WMP and that doesn't work. Nothing I do permenantly changes the name (not title).
Help!!!!!!

2018-02-28T22:38:30+00:00 Turn off WMP from Control Panel then, but don't turn it back on until the database files have been deleted.
This shows you where you go to delete db files (just the files not folders)

2018-02-28T23:01:13+00:00 We'll check to see where they're stored in a minute.... next rip a CD to the library (any will do) and when it has ripped see if you can delete individual tracks and then the whole album (as would normally be possible)
