Hi - this is in WMP isn't it? So first you need to do a second 'Tools' - Advanced' - 'Restore media library'- hopefully most of the tracks you can't delete will no longer be there. If the problem persists we'll completely delete the WMP app/data and restart WMP.
track numbers in front of song names in windows music library, windows 7
I have track numbers in front of some of my song names (not title) in my music libarary. How do I get rid of them. They are not in the "name" in WMP. I try to right click and rename and that doesn't work. I try going through properties into details and delete numbers in front of name, but it doesn't stay changed. Tried to edit in WMP and that doesn't work. Nothing I do permenantly changes the name (not title).
Help!!!!!!

2018-02-26T22:28:49+00:00 Again - it won't cause the loss of any files - it's only WMP that's affected. I turned it off permanently in my W10 pc myself only a week or so ago... No music lost - it's quite safe.
