Updated computer now Asus PCE AC68 will not work

I update to the latest version of windows 10 now my wireless network adapter will not work. I am currently use my iPhone usb hotspot to connect to the internet on my desktop. I have tried the latest driver updates and uninstalling and reinstalling. I have also tried a clean install. I have tried taking the Network adapter out and putting it back in. now I am stumped. I am getting error code 10. and when I try latest drivers it says that the latest drivers are already installed.

    Hi there,

    I am having the same issue. I installed the latest update to Windows 10 and my ASUS PCE-AC68 stopped working. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. I have changed the slot the card is installed in and nothing has worked. Any updates on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

    Just did update and now "Me Too".  64 bit W10 AMD 4 core.  GRRR...

    In the end, I moved the PCE-AC68 to a Fedora-based linux box and bought a new PCE-AC88 for my Windows box.  It installed properly and is working.  So my repurposed PCE-AC68 is working fine, and my new PCE-AC88 is also working fine.  I realize that's not a valid solution for everyone, but for those of us who have to have our systems functional immediately, that one will work.   What's nice about Linux is that once hardware is supported, it seems to be supported forever without undue breakage -- a philosophy sadly lacking from Microsoft.  Microsoft might take a page from IBM's backward - compatibility philosophy, and assure that once hardware works under Windows, Windows won't break that hardware.  That's why IBM implemented the 7090 microcode in S360 -- they allowed their customers to run really ancient operating systems and business software on modern hardware without problems.

    Hi 

    We have the same problem on my son's pc.

    An AMD 8core

    Failure (code 10). Can't start the Asus program. 

    It's also a W10 pro 64bit.

    After upgrade the wireless netcard could't be found.

    Hi people,

    I was able to get my AC68 "fixed" by rolling back the Windows 10 update (I also rolled back my NVIDIA graphic driver to a month old version as my Oculus experienced issues with the HDMI port on this Windows 10 Creator's Update as well).

    I did this from Settings > Update and Security > Recovery following some of the steps of this article:

    Thankfully it was a lot easier than I thought, the roll back feature was very simple to perform.
