I update to the latest version of windows 10 now my wireless network adapter will not work. I am currently use my iPhone usb hotspot to connect to the internet on my desktop. I have tried the latest driver updates and uninstalling and reinstalling. I have also tried a clean install. I have tried taking the Network adapter out and putting it back in. now I am stumped. I am getting error code 10. and when I try latest drivers it says that the latest drivers are already installed.

Just got it to work. Ive tried everything and this worked immediately.
Hit windows button and R. Then type msconfig. Go to boot tab. then click advanced options. then look for pci lock on the left side. check that box. It askes to restart. It worked immediately.

I was able to get my AC68 "fixed" by rolling back the Windows 10 update (I also rolled back my NVIDIA graphic driver to a month old version as my Oculus experienced issues with the HDMI port on this Windows 10 Creator's Update as well).
I did this from Settings > Update and Security > Recovery following some of the steps of this article:
Thankfully it was a lot easier than I thought, the roll back feature was very simple to perform.
So I'm on the older Win10 now, but that's fine.
Insane isnt it! I tried everything possible for 3 days. My brother came over and i asked him what he though. He was a computer technician 14 years ago. Been out of the game along time but he said right out off the bat that i bet the problem is reassignment of resources and you need to find a way to lock your devices to the slot. He knew it involves msconfig so we started toying with it. Found the pci lock and viola! I was blown away. I emailed ASUS to inform them as well. They thanked me for the info. Im still shocked that my brother knew what to to based on logic from over a decade ago.
Same problem. It is not corrupted drivers. If you go to the ASUS forums, you will see that MANY people are having the same issue.
