Keep getting this error message when I go to sites that used to work to pay my bills.

Can’t connect securely to this page<br><br>This might be because the site uses outdated or unsafe TLS security settings. If this keeps happening, try contacting the website’s owner. <br><br> <br><br>Your TLS security settings aren’t set to the defaults, which could also be causing this error.<br><br><br>Try this:<br><br><ul><br><li><span style="color:#0066cc">Go back to the last page</span></li></ul>

    Internet Explorer is already part of Windows 10 and you don't need to download it. Just to clarify, which operating system are you currently using? If you are using Windows 10 and you would like Google Chrome to be your default browser, go to Settings> Apps> Default apps> Web browser and choose Google Chrome. After that, kindly restart your computer.

    My problems started when I had to reset my laptop.  When I click on a link in an email I get the message about TLS settings being wrong and to fix them in Internet Explorer.  One of the things that disappeared during the reset was Internet Explorer.  When I try to install it it tells me it can't do that on a 64 bit machine. I have no clue what to try.

    I'm using Edge and can't find anything like what is shown.  I see that I also don't have the option to change my default browser to Google.  Only Bing is shown in  Advanced settings and no ability to add a different one.  My main problem is getting the message others are when I try to go to a link from an email.

    Hi azbarbms,

    If you are using Internet Explorer, you may refer to the steps below:

    Microsoft Internet Explorer

    1. Open Internet Explorer
    2. From the menu bar, click Tools> Internet Options > Advanced tab
    3. Scroll down to Securitycategory, manually check the option box for Use TLS 1.1and Use TLS 1.2

    4. Click OK 5. Close your browser and restart Internet Explorer.

    To reset the browser, just click the Reset... option, click OK and then click Apply. After that kindly restart your computer.

    I had to reset my laptop and now if I try to use a link in an email to go to the internet I get this same message.  How/where do I reset tls security settings?
