TLS security settings aren’t set to the defaults

Keep getting this error message when I go to sites that used to work to pay my bills.

Can’t connect securely to this page<br><br>This might be because the site uses outdated or unsafe TLS security settings. I had same problem but it's solved.

Setting> Internet Options> Advanced> Security> Use TLS 1.2 (it was marked at 1.0)

This worked!  Everything else suggested doesn't even make sense to fix the problem, like fixing the Microsoft Store?  How does that even equate with the issue?  I will add, that for some, a little extra explanation on how you do that is helpful.  A person needs to go to settings (on the computer, not in the browser) and then I had to search for "Internet Options" in the search bar because I couldn't find it in the settings.  After that, easy peasy!  Thanks again so much!

I am using Windows 10. The Browser is Microsoft Edge. Have not used any other browser.
