Hi:
I have periodic explorer crashes on my Surface Pro 2017, Win Pro x64 (it is fully updated). The crash seems to occur periodically after a Hello Windows log-in (this occurs after the computer was sleeping rather than on a fresh boot). It seems to involve Windows.UI.XamlHost.dll based on the below.
When I look in the Event viewer I see errors like this:

I am at a loss to understand what the problem is here. I am glad to disable Hello Windows if this would end the problem. Thanks in advance for any help on this!

2018-02-13T21:25:01+00:00 The Event Logs show numerous 7zFM.exe crashing with the 7z.dll which would indicate there is an issue with the 7-Zip program that is installed which appears to be at version 16.04.
Can you uninstall 7-Zip and, if you would like to use the 7-Zip program install the latest version (18.01):
And, update to the latest build of Windows 10 1709 (16299.248):

I am starting with the 7-zip (I have experienced crashes when dropping files into it). I have uninstalled and the installed the current version (18.01, 64 bit version, http://www.7-zip.org/a/7z1801-x64.exe) as you suggested. It seems odd that an open source program would be the source of the problem! I really dislike the windows zip program and had problems when I was using winzip earlier. Is there another program people use?
