Microsoft Digital Image Suite on Win 10

I have been using Microsoft Digital Image Suite Anniversary Edition on my computer running Win. 10. However a factory reset removed it. In trying to reinstall, I get the message the IE6 is needed to run it.  Is there anyway I can continue to use this software with my Win10 64 bit platform? This program has been phenomenal  for the past 12 years and I want to continue with it rather than switch to another photo editing program.

    Thank you so much, I have been trying for months to install this on my wife's laptop, she makes greeting cards and found this program easier for her work. I cant believe how simple this was to install by following your instructions, I purchased this software from new, and thought it was now useless ,I am glad I decided to look on here.

    i have used microsoft digital image suite 10 from new for atleast ten years for photo repairing but after i had problems with my laptop i couldt re install it ,i had a message saying cant install on 16 bit platform ANYONE   ?

    You are very welcome...I to find this program invaluable to say the least. Hope ppl find this post for years to come. Hope your wife does beautiful work with it.

    Does the library function work for you?  I've installed Digital Image suite with the method described here.  That works great.  The program loads and the photo editor works as well.  If I choose to go the digital Image Library from the task bar etc, nothing happens.  I've found the file that launches it and tried changing the settings for it as in compatibility, but that doesn't seem to help...
