Xbox One S controller causing major performance problems in many games when connected via bluetooth. Need dev attention. Widespread, many examples within.

When connecting the Xbox One S controller via bluetooth, many games suffer performance problems.

This is remedied by plugging it in via usb.

Firmware updates so far have not remedied the problem.

Just a brief anecdotal example before I demonstrate the scope of this problem

Just Cause 3's menu screen is locked to 30fps.

With KB+M: 30fps

XBone S via bluetooth: 22fps

XBone S via usb: 30fps

Now, this issue has come up in many forums over across the internet.

How do we get some dev attention on this issue? It's widespread and affects many games, and seems to be a driver issue.

I've tried updating from the current live release to the most recent insider build, as well as buying a high end bluetooth adapter. The issue persists, and clearly has nothing to do with me, my config, or anything we as users can do.

I've taken a fresh format, installed Trials Fusion(this game is particularly bad, unplayable over bluetooth0, and could immediately see the issue in play.

I've even swapped GPUs, from AMD to nVidia (not in an attempt to fix this, but it rules out display driver related issues)

Getting hit in a BIG way on Forza Horizon 4.

Using XBox 360 wired controller, seeing 80-100 fps.

Using PlayStation 4 controller via Bluetooth, 80-100 fps.

Using XBox One wireless via Bluetooth, 25-40 fps.

    That's just embarrassing!

    Win10 build 17134.523 64bit.

    Ryzen 7 1700X

    AMD Radeon RX 580

    32.0 GB RAM

Intel Wireless Bluetooth driver 19.71.0.2, but I've used other Bluetooth adapters with no improvement.

This system should be able to run ANYTHING.

I use to have a wired controller, but it was annoying.  If i knew the wireless controller had this issue, I would have kept it.

This issue is happening with a few games I've been playing lately.  The Division and Anthem.  I suspect it won't change.  I'll try playing it using a USB, but that defeats the purpose of paying $60 for a Microsoft XBOX One S controller.

I have a really great system and it should be able to handle just about anything.

Microsoft, please take this serious and fix this.  I heard that Steam has a fix as when you use stuff through their controller config...

I agree but the advantage of the USB version is it works with pretty much all games for the console it represents

I have a wired Xbox 360 pad that works well with all the PC versions of some 1000 different titles out there

I am hopeful they are working on this issue finally. I have noticed a change is issue. It still happens but my controller reacts differently in the last few mouths. Before it disconnected and dropped fps now it just disconnects and has to be turned off and back on to work. So baby steps. Sad, tho I am using a intel Bluetooth adapter and Xbox one s controller.
