Xbox One S controller causing major performance problems in many games when connected via bluetooth. Need dev attention. Widespread, many examples within.

When connecting the Xbox One S controller via bluetooth, many games suffer performance problems.

This is remedied by plugging it in via usb.

Firmware updates so far have not remedied the problem.

Just a brief anecdotal example before I demonstrate the scope of this problem

Just Cause 3's menu screen is locked to 30fps.

With KB+M: 30fps

XBone S via bluetooth: 22fps

XBone S via usb: 30fps

How do we get some dev attention on this issue? It's widespread and affects many games, and seems to be a driver issue.

I've tried updating from the current live release to the most recent insider build, as well as buying a high end bluetooth adapter. The issue persists, and clearly has nothing to do with me, my config, or anything we as users can do.

I've taken a fresh format, installed Trials Fusion(this game is particularly bad, unplayable over bluetooth0, and could immediately see the issue in play.

I've even swapped GPUs, from AMD to nVidia (not in an attempt to fix this, but it rules out display driver related issues)

    xbox one s controller with updated firmware 3.1.1221.0

    The current version of steam (2/14/2018) with Settings->Controller->Xbox One Controller support check box is enabled.

    Games with buttons that do not work properly

    -Dodonpachi resurrection

    -Mushihimesama

    -Hyperlight drifter

    Games with buttons that do work properly

    -The Witness

    -Brawlhalla

    -Ikaruga

    Now the interesting thing is that these games all function properly with the Xbox one elite controller with the xbox one wireless adapter in the USB port.

    I have the same issue, i bought an xbox one S controller recently and at first performed very well but then i noticed the fps loss and stutter in wolfenstein II. I thought it was the batteries but after replacing them the issue continued... What is causing this? This didn't happen with the xbox 360 controller, i regret changing to this thing...

    I too have been experiencing lag with my Bluetooth controller. It seem to be at it's worse when it is about to desync and resync. 

    Specs

    9370 amd 4.4 ghz

    32 gb ram

    GeForce 1070 gtx

    Xbox one controller with Bluetooth.

    Asus Bluetooth adapter intel drivers.

    Games I noticed this issue Fortnite, fallout 4, and some other random games. I have only had Bluetooth for a few months. But, pretty much any game that uses controller is affected. My fps go from 60 in fortnite to 3-5. I have had to turn off controller and use keyboard and mouse. Then works fine.

    Hope they fix soon.

    Dropping from 60fps to 3-5fps on Trial Fusion..
